Health Day @ Staburo

At Staburo, health isn’t just a priority—it’s at the heart of everything we do. Our mission to deliver exceptional data science solutions goes hand in hand with our commitment to improving and saving lives, including the well-being of our own team members. We believe a healthy work environment—both physically and mentally—is essential for success.

As part of our ongoing dedication to employee health, we recently hosted our second health day at the Staburo office. The day was filled with engaging presentations and activities centered around mental health, stress management, and resilience. Employees also had the chance to get an eye check.

Additionally, we offered stress type counseling sessions, led by experts from Techniker Krankenkasse, providing personalized advice and strategies for managing stress effectively. To further boost everyone’s health, Kloster Kitchen provided a selection of immune-boosting shots and smoothies for everyone to enjoy.

It was wonderful to see so many colleagues participate in the day’s events, and we would like to extend a big thank you to all employees for their enthusiasm and engagement. A special thanks as well to Techniker Krankenkasse and Kloster Kitchen for their valuable contributions.

We look forward to continuing our efforts in fostering a healthier, happier workplace for all at Staburo.

Staburo’s ESG initiative supported by TUM students

We at Staburo GmbH are committed to maintain the highest ethical standards across legal, environmental, and social areas, as outlined in our company’s philosophy.  

Based on the current EU corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD) Staburo currently takes a closer look on how our ESG (environmental, social and governance) actions affect our business. We are delighted that our current working student Alkida Hoxhaj and her fellow student Gledis Zhugli from Technical University München (TUM) support Staburo within this field. 

For Alkida and Gledis this is a key part of their academic journey, where they’ll be applying their knowledge and research skills to real-world industry challenges. The project is accompanied by supervisors from TUM and Staburo and will run until the end of the year 2024.  

We already look forward to the results of the project and are convinced that these new insights will further support us in meeting the highest standards in corporate responsibility. 

Staburo @ Wiesn 2024

Just a few days ago, the Staburo annual Wiesn event took place, marking yet another unforgettable Oktoberfest celebration with our team and clients. The Oktoberfest has become a cherished tradition at Staburo, and this year was no exception.

We were fortunate once again to secure enough tables—this time accommodating 70 seats—in the lively Bräurosl tent, where the entire team, along with long-time customers, gathered for an evening of laughter, singing, and dancing. Some of our more adventurous colleagues also took on the exhilarating roller coaster rides, adding to the fun!

With our diverse and ever-growing international team, we were delighted to have even more first-time Oktoberfest visitors join us this year, experiencing the magic of the Wiesn for themselves.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 2024 Wiesn event such a wonderful and fun experience. We’re already looking forward to celebrating again next year!

Safety & Health @ Staburo

Workplace safety and health is something we at Staburo take very seriously as part of our employer responsibility. 

That is why we completed a first aiders refresher training together with nine Staburo colleagues a couple of weeks ago.

The first aiders training was an insightful session at the ADAC training center in Munich. It was a hot day, but full of fun and engaging moments, as we practiced various scenarios  We feel well prepared to provide first aid to our colleagues in case of injuries.  

In addition, our health day 2024 will take place soon and will cover safety topics and a wide range of health topics. We are already looking forward to the latest health tips and some healthy activities in the office in October. 

Team Event @ Kletterwald

A few days ago, the Biomarkers team came together for a team-building event at Kletterwald München. All nine team members, Laura Schlieker, Adelina Khoroshevskaya, Rebecca Freudling, Sarah Mwiberi Juckel, Maria Blanco, Gilary Evans Vera Nuñez, Stephan Bischofberger, Tim Müller and Maria Stark, participated in a 4-hour climbing session that began with a detailed safety introduction. They tackled various climbing parcours, each designed with different levels of difficulty to challenge them. 

Despite the rain, they continued to climb and enjoyed the experience. A break halfway through allowed the team to rest and refresh with coffee, tea, and other beverages before completing the remaining parcours. 

Following the climbing session, the team gathered in Giesing for a meal of pizza and pasta. It was a good opportunity to discuss the day’s activities and further strengthen our team’s connection. 

The event was successful in building teamwork and providing a unique, shared experience.
