Earlier this month, the Staburo team gathered for a full-day strategy workshop followed by our much-anticipated summer party. In the morning, we joined our workshop groups previously assigned. Topics such as: Ethical and Respectful Leadership, Empathetic and Supportive Culture, Growth and Development, Empowerment and Autonomy, and Strategic and Sustainable Business Focus were discussed to explore how we live our values and sharpen our strategy for the months ahead. Lively debates yielded a set of clear recommendations that will guide our priorities.
This year we also introduced a poster challenge: each group gathered their top recommendations onto creative, eye-catching posters. By lunch time, they brought their concepts to life in colourful visuals, infographics and snappy taglines. In a lively end-of-workshop showcase, participants toured each display, asked questions and voted for their favourites.
After our working day, we moved into the ground-floor courtyard for our summer party. The barbecue was fired up for party and conversations started to flow. Even a sudden rain shower couldn’t dampen spirits – instead, colleagues and family members settled under umbrellas and on the inside venue, cheering each other on through photo challenges, lawn games and table tennis.
Whether in focused workshops or festivities, nothing brings us closer than the chance to learn, grow and celebrate together. Here’s to putting our new insights into action and to many more memorable moments at Staburo!
