Staburo contributes to bioinformatic analysis in a Phase 2 chronic kidney disease (CKD) study

We are pleased that part of our work got published as a scientific article in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences on November 7^th, 2025.

In this publication, we supported the bioinformatic analysis in a study investigating the effect of Vicadrostat monotherapy or in combination with Empagliflozin on urinary extracellular vesicle microRNA expression.

Staburo assisted in data analysis and visualisation, as well as in biological interpretation, identifying the modulation of miRNA profiles under the treatments in the study, highlighting the potential use of microRNAs as biomarkers for disease activity and treatment response in CKD.
