At Staburo, our greatest asset is our people. With a team of over 100 professionals based in Munich and supporting clients across the globe, we bring together deep expertise in biostatistics, data science, bioinformatics, statistical programming, and beyond. Our team members hold advanced degrees across a wide range of disciplines, and many have years of hands-on experience in clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry.

Our History
Founded in Munich in 2010, we have grown steadily over the years, from a small idea at UnternehmerTUM to a team of 100 employees in 2025. Today, we continue building on this foundation, focusing on sustainable development and long-term partnerships.

BVMA
“Bundesverband Medizinischer Auftragsinstitute” / Federal Association of Contract Research Organisations was founded in 1991 in order to represent CROs (Contract Research Organisations) which are based in Germany or German speaking countries. The BVMA is based in Munich.

EFSPI
The European Federation of Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry, is open to constituted groups of statisticians. They are engaged in statistical aspects of research, development, production, and surveillance of drugs and medical devices. Several of our employees are members of the ‘Reporting’ subteam of the Estimand Implementation Working Group (EIWG).

PSI
Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry (PSI) is a community dedicated to leading and promoting the use of statistics within the healthcare industry for the benefit of patients. Several of our employees are members in special interest groups of PSI, like AIMS SIG, Biomarkers, CMC Statistical Network Europe, ctDNA, Vaccines.

APF
“Arbeitsgruppe Pharmazeutische Forschung” is a working group for pharmaceutical research and development under the umbrella of the German region of the international Biometric Society. APF aspires to connect data scientists working in the field of pharmaceutical research and development. Several of our employees are active members of APF.

EMWA
European Medical Writers Association is a network of professionals representing, supporting, and training medical communicators. It is a not-for-profit organisation run for its members by its members. Several of our employees are active members of EMWA.
